New Years Eve was just over and then there was another thing to party: the 10500th bird's name has been entered into my stats of budgie names. On 01/08/2005 Alexandra from Germany sent me the name of this special bird: Sammy. Regrettably the cute budgie hen isn't alive anymore. Alex wrote some words about her: "I got Sammy together with her beloved Micky. She was always very nasty and she knew how to deal with her men. When she came to my home, she carried her name already. There was one very special thing she used to do at night: She plucked the bars of the cage like harp-strings and created a "ping" sound. ;o) We will never forget her!"
