On 02/21/02, Paula Hughes and her husband who live in Chicago, Illinois in the U.S. sent in the 2500th name. The great honor goes to their cute budgie-lady who is called Hutch. She and her brother Starsky were named after the characters of the famous TV series. Many of the other budgies of Paula and her husband also carry names showing their owners got inspired by TV and cinema while looking for a name. Paula told me that Hutch really loves to hear what a good birdie she is, well isn't she gorgeous? Just have a look at her photo that you can see on the right. Other hobbies of this cute budgie hen are chewing her keeper's fingers while they are changing the food dishes and she also enjoys knocking the lid of the water dish. That's what most female budgies love to do as I can tell you from my own experience. ;-)
