When Cindy from Germany entered her budgie's names into my stats on 04/08/2010, another anniversay bird was among them. Emil is the 34000th budgie whose name is part of the statistics on budgie names. Regrettably, Cindy could not have a "party" with him since he died a while ago. But she was happy to hear about his anniversary and sent me the photo on the right. She has not other photos with a better quality, this is the only souvenir she owns. This is how she describes her beloved little feathered friend:

"Emil came here in 2004/2005. We got him from a pet shop and he was the seventh bird in our little flock. He was the most adventurous bird. Especially together with his grey fellow Freddy he did a lot of funny things. Actually one cannot describe this very special feather ball, because he was so unimaginably wonderful and he always made me feel that he was something special."
