Another anniversary took place on 04/17/02, because Claudia and Werner Hausleitner from Austria sent in the name of the 5500th budgie. The honor goes to their pieded budgie Maxi. The feathered gentleman lives together with three other budgies in the Hausleitner's home. Maxi hatched on 01/10/01 and is the loudest member of the little flock. His high interest in the ladies makes him courtship them all day long. Feeding on millet spray is his greatest passion. Most of the time, Maxi perches right beside his very close friend Flip, another male flock member. The photo shows Maxi tasting the natural twig.
