On 03/20/2008 Phil from Great Britain sent me a message containing the names of his budgies. Among them was another anniversary bird. This honour goes to Sir Henry Parkes who carried the 9500th name that has been entered into my stats. Learn more about this very special and beautiful budgie who regrettably passed away a while ago:

"He was named after a Premier of New South Wales from the turn of the last century as they both had fine white beards. We bought Henry as we noticed he was in the pet shop aviary for about 6 months. He was an old bird, or at least looked old, so nobody else was interested. We thought he would enjoy his retirement with our two other budgies, Sky and Neptune. Once he had settled in, he was very happy and was a lovely budgie, very affectionate and always enjoyed being talked to. The other two budgies liked him a lot.
Sadly, he became very ill just over a year after we bought him and had to be put to sleep. He is very much missed."
